Enabling Slack

Slack is a popular communication tool that lets you create themed rooms for focused discussions as well as share files and send direct messages to your teammates. By linking Slack to your Luffa account you will be able to use many of Luffa's functionality right from within Slack; starting new captures, searching past conversation and creating spaces. Helping you keep your communications on a platform your teammates are already using.

Step 1 - Connect Slack and Luffa

The fastest way to connect Slack to Luffa is to visit the Slack/Luffa page. Clicking on the 'Add to Slack' button will bring up the Permissions page to link the two tools.

The second way to add the Luffa App to your Slack channel you go to your Settings page and click on Integrations or you can download the app from here: Luffa for Slack

Step 2 - Grant Permission

Once you click on Slack or the Download button, you'll be given a permissions prompt from Slack. Click on "Continue" to authorize the app.

After you click you will be returned to the Luffa page and a confirmation message will appear at the top of the page.

Step 3 - Slack Settings

You are now ready to start using Luffa from within Slack! If you'd like to see a full list of Slack command you can check out our  Slack Commands help page or type '/luffa help' within an active Luffa Slack channel.
